Depressive Disorders
Individuals may experience persistent sadness, loss of interest in meaningful activities, fatigue, changes in sleep or appetite, and feelings of hopelessness. These symptoms can make everyday tasks feel exhausting or unmanageable.
Bipolar Disorders
Involve cycles of depression and periods of elevated or irritable mood (mania or hypomania). During elevated states, a person may feel unusually energetic, impulsive, or overwhelmed by racing thoughts. These shifts can affect relationships, work, self-care, and emotional stability.
Borderline Personality Disorder
This is characterized by intense and rapidly shifting emotions, difficulty maintaining a stable sense of self, challenges in relationships, and impulsive or self-protective behaviors that may arise from intense emotional pain.
